BLACK BELT COMMUNITY FOUNDATION
Vision and Mission
A Transformed Black Belt
Our vision is of a transformed Black Belt where all of our residents contribute to healthy communities and reap the benefits of our shared gifts and a productive regional economy. Our job is to consolidate many region-wide improvement efforts into a common effort with a simple mission: To forge a collective stream of giving from Alabama and other sources so we, the people of the Black Belt, can enhance our continuing efforts to lift ourselves by "taking what we have to make what we need."
Why Donors Use BBCF
Leadership
We have board members and a staff who come from this region. They know the region, its needs and how to get the job done.
Personal
Why do you have in mind? A scholarship to send a student from your school district to an area junior college of four-year school?
Expertise
When potential donors call our office, send us an e-mail or come by our office, they are greeted by a friendly, knowledgeable staff member or volunteer.
