BLACK BELT COMMUNITY FOUNDATION - Associates: Current Year
BBCF Community Associates
Current Year Community Associates
One of the best ways to give of your time to the Black Belt Community Foundation is to become a member of our Community Associates. Community Associates help the Board of Directors and staff stay in touch with organizations in the Black Belt that are organized for and can benefit from Foundation assistance. They help with fund raising, are a source for committees and other Foundation appointments and are crucial in getting the word out into the community about the Foundation.
Funding of Community Associates activities and training was made possible by a generous grant from the Mary Reynolds Babcock Foundation, enabling BBCF to offer leadership training to 100 Associates. Associates play an important role in helping the Foundation remain true to its mission as a grassroots organization. All 12 counties in the Black Belt region are represented.
